History of The White Eagle Sport Club by Year

Throughout history, White Eagle Sport Club consistently maintained its focus on soccer while fostering community engagement through other sports and activities. Its Junior soccer program and university-level player participation have contributed significantly to its legacy.

  • Founding: The White Eagle Soccer Club was established under the sponsorship of Council 122 P.N.A. (Polish National Alliance).

  • Activities: Although soccer was the primary focus, the club also supported other activities like table tennis, chess, bowling, and volleyball.

  • First Team Debut: The club’s soccer team debuted in the second division of the Detroit Soccer League.

  • Achievements: Won first place in the second division and was promoted to the first division within the same year.

  • Indoor State Championship Cup: The White Eagles retired the Indoor State Championship Cup after winning it consecutively for three years (1967, 1968, and 1969).
